I’m not normally a reviewer but credit where credits due we’ve just had an absolutely banging takeaway…we’re visiting from Sheffield and we’re big curry fans, and took what we thought was a gamble on a place we didn’t know. It paid off…Prawn purée starter excellent , shashi paneer was supurb, the meat in my Kahari Gosht was beautiful and the accompaniments were sound too… would highly recommend. Great job guys

A Masterclass in Nostalgia: The Way Indian Dining Used to Be From the moment I stepped through the doors, I felt like I had been transported back to the golden era of Indian dining. There is a specific "Old Style" feel that many modern establishments have traded away for minimalist grey walls and industrial lighting, but this place embraces its heritage with such confidence that it’s nothing short of breathtaking. The Decor: A Perfect Balancing Act Let’s talk about the flock wallpaper. In the hands of any other restaurateur, attempting this aesthetic in 2026 would have felt like a tired cliché or a cheap gimmick. But here? They have pulled it off perfectly. It doesn't feel like a costume; it feels like an inheritance. The deep textures and rich patterns create a sense of warmth and intimacy that makes you want to settle in for the entire evening. It’s a bold, unapologetic nod to the classic curry houses of "back in the day," executed with a level of class that is rare to find. An Atmosphere for the Senses The ambiance was further elevated by the choice of music. Rather than the generic pop remixes you hear everywhere else, we were treated to the gentle, soul-stirring sounds of the traditional Indian sitar. It provided the perfect acoustic backdrop—present enough to set the mood, but never so loud that it hindered conversation. It felt authentic, grounded, and incredibly relaxing. The Main Event: The Food Of course, the decor only matters if the kitchen can back it up—and they certainly did. The food was: Incredibly Fresh: You could taste the vibrancy of the spices in every bite. Nothing felt "pre-batched" or heavy. Generous and Plentiful: We certainly didn't leave hungry. The portion sizes remind you of true Indian hospitality, where the goal is to ensure the guest is thoroughly satisfied. Service with a Soul Above all else, what truly defined the night was the staff. From the second we walked in, we were met with genuine smiles and a level of friendliness that felt like being welcomed into someone’s home. They were attentive without being intrusive, and their pride in the restaurant was evident in every interaction. Verdict: If you are tired of sterile, modern dining and crave a meal that has heart, history, and incredible flavor, this is your spot. They’ve captured lightning in a bottle here.

We ordered a takeaway from four counties this weekend and it was really good. It was 30 minute wait for collection, when I arrived it was ready for me, got it home and it was still hot. The curry itself was beautiful full of flavour and a really good size portion. Naan breads were also really nice. Would definitely recommend we will be back.
